Rooted in West Virginia. Built for life outside.
I’m Josh Scott—a husband, dad to two daughters, and Marine Corps veteran in my mid-40s, rooted in West Virginia. In the Marines, I served as a 2311 Ammunition Technician. These days, I enjoy hunting, fishing, collecting knives, and sharing those interests through Josh Scott Outdoors.
This site brings together my hunting stories, gear review videos, and finds that catch my attention. You’ll also find my knife videos in the dedicated Appalachian Knife Reviews section.
Thanks for stopping by. Whether you’re here for a review, a hunting story, or another knife to add to your collection, I hope you find something worth sticking around for.
